iLoubnan, reports on the development of an internet tool which many have been longing for. The software company,
Yamli has created a system which enables English keyboards to be used to convert Arabic phonetic transcriptions into Arabic characters. A new
Facebook application has been recently added.
For some texters and forum posters, Arabic phonetics has become almost a new language, a second coming of Babel, with its own grammar, punctuation and spelling.
