The Club announced that the only people who purchased one square meter of turf for the Zgharta Stadium in the last two weeks were ourselves,zgharta.com team, number 4446 and Yasmine Azizi, meter numbers, 441-442.

Since the Club's appeal, fourteen weeks ago, it has only achieved some 6% of the total appeal target which is disappointing. The state of the present pitch is appalling and reflects badly on the Club's image. It seems to be the case that everyone wants a club with modern facilities but they are not prepared to make a small financial contribution themselves. Unfortunately people rely on a small band of known benefactors to come to the rescue, but with ever increasing demands on them these days, they cannot be expected to answer every plea for money. On an individual basis all what is needed is for every family to pay for one meter. We note that local organisations, clubs, municipal councils or businesses have not made a collective purchase. As an incentive for businesses we will offer a free advert on our site for one month if they buy four meters.

The price of one square meter is LL100,000 (US$ 67:Euro 48)
